Large Health Care Vendor Partnership

Municipal Central Controls Upgrading
OGS Greenturf Irrigation completed a project for the Town of Ajax to update several of its irrigation systems to Toro Sentinel Central Controls.
Irrigation Audit for Institutional Irrigation System
Greenturf will be starting on an audit of water waste a large irrigation system this Spring. The object is to limit waste of the irrigated islands that spray too much water on the parking lot. We will also be recommending Smart Controllers or Moisture Sensors.
Mental Health Centre Partenrship
OGS has entered into a multi year contract with a large mental health facility on the shores of lake ontario. This includes having full time staff throughout the summer months to maintain dozens of acres and also maintain the safety in the winter.
Large Commercial Irrigation Retrofit
Greenturf has been asked to install an ET Manager at a large retail centre in order to control water waste and encourage a healthier landscape.
Commercial Irrigation Rain Sensors
Greenturf Irrigation installed wireless rainsensors for a building that had a somewhat outdated irrigation system. The controllers were upgraded and the new Rainbird wireless Rainsensors were installed. The upgrades will pay for themselves withing a couple of years.
SMART Irrigation at Parkwood
Greenturf Irrigation was approached by Landscape Ontario to offer their expertise to design and install and irrigation system at the National Historical Site- Parkwood Estate. We installed both traditional irrigation and low-volume irrigation. All controlled by a Smart Controller that will reduce water consumption by up to 70%.
Non-Destructive Snow & Ice Control
A client asked for a product that would not deteriorate their building foundation and brick as typical rock salt would. We found a solution that was cost-effective, and still kept the parking and pedestrian areas safe to avoid liability.
Lighting System for Make A Wish Foundation
Nightscape lighting systems donated their services to take part in making "Haydens Wish" come true. We were happy to work with the other volunteers to complete the extensive project. Path lighting, gazeebo lighting and overall security lighting was installed to allow the landscape to come alive at night.
